pretty! you know I am a sucker for ceramics, particularly handmade ones with their slight imperfections making them just perfect. What a lovely meaning behind Iris' name. I have always loved the name Iris, even before I knew that lovely phrase.
Thanks G. I've been having fun making many 'imperfect' trinkets and bits. Strangely, I never really thought or considered the name Iris as that lovely until I meet my Iris. It does have a wonderful history and strength to it and it suits her perfectly.

Just a white rake for this ... I'd love to explore some chunkier, grittier clays though.
