13/52

A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2014

What a big week!

Iris – we've finally moved Iris into the cot. Here she is, in her new room. She's just dropped her babushka, hence the shocked look.
Nora – her birthday morning called for fluffy skirts, crowns and umbrellas.
Oscar – atop Papa's ute watching a truck remove a skip bin.

Last weeks favourite, brand new Aubrey and his proud big brother Ellery.

Joining in with Jodi.

  3. I love Nora's beanie Imogen. She looks like a little gumnut baby.
    Your children are beautiful.
That photo of Oscar...there's something so special about it. He looks like an old-fashioned kid in a cool t.shirt - if you know what I mean...

    1. The beanie is from vicki at dover and madden. I can't knit, but I adore handknits on babes, I'm so eaer for autumn to kick in.

He does look old-fashioned. I think its partly because of the squint and the crew cut – kids didn't use to wear hats, plus I'm sure the really old shed next door is adding to the aura.

  5. aah! I LOVE the green top pic -- the color of the walls and hat are gorgeous-- is the whole room that color? I want to do my bedroom a bright green but haven't known if it will be too much? Would love to hear how you like it!

    1. It is ALL that colour. The strongest colour in the house, in the smallest room, which was originally going to be my study, but I can't bear the thought of the kids sleeping in the one room and waking each other up. I love it. Really. But I'm not sure whether I'd want to sleep in it. If it wasn't such a mess in the rest of the room, I'd send you a better photo of it. x
