Nora's Art

I'm completely enamored with Nora's latest artworks. There is something magical about this age – before the become aware of drawing figuratively or self-conscious of their work, and rather just make marks on the paper (or walls or furniture or bodies*), because they can.

*Evidence can be found here and here.

  1. Ohhhh Im! I'm so with you... something so beautifully abstract and mesmerising about the art of little ones... the paper looks lovely too.

    1. The paper is awesome, it is made from ... elephant poo! Truly. It was a christmas gift from their aunty, along with the oil pastels.

  3. It seems our little one is about at the same stage. I love them too, so abstract, but when they tell you about them, they really make sense! Xx

    1. So true, I remember that from my sons early drawings. Nora doesn't say much that is coherent yet, but I may try asking her some questions next time. x
