Daphne! ohhh... its been years since I've smelled her sweetness under my nose (is it in YOUR garden?!) and what other joyful glimpses... your blog is always like a breath of fresh air.
Thank you Emily (: No, not my garden. My garden is a sad ramshackle of weeds and slugs (quite seriously, I have big plans for it, I'm just yet to execute any of them), that glorious Daphne is in my parents' magical garden.
Daphne doesn't grow well here in the West, but Lucy Violet (Upper Ferntree Gully) grew it in her garden, so I know its heavenly perfume well.
