Flowers for Friday: pink roses

I've spent a fair bit of time in the Southern Highlands recently – Bowral, Berrima, Mittagong. Just a small sampling of the pink prettiness I encountered.

Tomorrow is the first day of Summer! Although I think Summer really officially started yesterday. So so so hot.

We have a mothers' group christmas party this weekend – picture ten beautiful crazy toddlers running around. Hope you all have lovely plans.

  1. I'm looking at something very similar out my window at this moment. The highlands does do a fine rose. x

  2. Your roses are really pretty! I have a row of pink roses down the side fence out the front and after yesterdays horrible hot weather, they are looking a little sorry...I'm hoping that they bounce back!
What a lovely surprise to find that you had a link to my little blog and encouraging everyone to have a look at my flowers too!! Thankyou so much, really lovely! And because of that, I hope you have a wonderful weekend! x

    1. Oh the heat is intense and fatiguing! But we're enjoying mangoes and swimming and icy poles and general laziness. And the washing is drying in two seconds flat.

I hope your rugged up on your side of the world and drinking hot chocolate and making snowflakes out of paper (because that is what I imagine everyone does in the Northern hemisphere when Christmas is looming).
